Why Copper Abacus?

The abacus is the obvious choice for symbolizing an accountant's work. It represents classic, time-tested traditions in the field that should serve as a foundation for any accounting practice. The symbol is also a humbling gesture, as at their core, accountants are really just bean counters after all.

Copper as a color is warm and neutral and able to be nicely paired with other colors.

Copper as a material is strong, flexible and economical. Copper is a wonderful conductor of electricity and the Copper Age predated the Bronze Age. Copper is also used in the smallest denomination of currency in the United States, the penny. And as we all know, every penny counts.

Tying these two elements together to create a Copper Abacus expresses my Management Accounting style: Blending classic and universal concepts with those of reliability, adaptability and innovation.

All organizations evolve and I plan to evolve alongside you.
